1990 GMC Truck
1990 GMC PICK-UP TRUCK - I SOLD IT :(
This is a 1990 GMC Pick-up Truck. It was constructed by Texas Stage Coach in 1990 and I have kept it since new all these years.
The exterior paint is all original from 1990. It is three tones of color. The truck is basically black with silver panels outlined in gold. |
From any angle this truck looks great! |
TEXAS STAGE COACH built a few nice trucks in the 1990's. I have never seen another one but there must be one out there somewhere. For now this is one of one! |
She is a two door sports car ride. |
This truck came with the 5.7L motor. Dust is all original. |
The exterior running boards have Texas Stage Coach etched in them. |
She has overhead lights and a 1990's radar detector. |
The interior aged oak has Texas Stage Coach etched in the glove box door. caption |
I have tried to find SLE SIERRA in the NADA books. Just to see what this truck is worth. |
I think EFI might mean Electronic Fuel Injection.
The truck has only 177K miles on her. I had the motor rebuilt when it reached about 120K. It had to be done. She was smoking. So, I bored her 30 over and put in a Corvette cam. I also installed a computer chip that gave her more performance and faster shifting. Additionally, she is a complete dual exhausted truck now. I have looked all over the web-sites for a truck as pretty as this one. What can I say? She is quick!
These are the direction rims that came on the truck. |

1970DodgeChargers
This is my 1970 Dodge Charger R/T 440 Six-pack.
Only 159 cars, with this set-up, were produced. Unknown number in this color with this engine and the 4 speed manual transmission. The color is Plum Crazy. I have owned the car since 1972. I am the second owner. The numbers all are matching and I have most of the original parts, papers and pieces. I put Cragar mags on the front and rear on are about 1975. The tires are Mickey Thompson. This car is a Hurst 4-speed, Hemi- Transmission, Dayna rear with 4:56 gearing.
This picture shows an under the hood view. The motor came with a hemi orange paint color.
I have done little things to dress up the engine. Some enthusiast don't like to change anything original. Since it is my car, I believe I can. If you own the car for 36 years, you should be able to have a little fun customizing your own car. The car came stock with a duel point distributor. Around 1973, I upgraded to one of the first electronic ignition systems. It made it a lot easier to dial in the timing and keep the car running longer between casual drives.
The car has three carburetors. It mostly runs on the center carburetor, which is a Holley 350. The two outer carburetors are Holley 500's. They are vacuum assisted but I help them to work better thru a small modification to make it act like progressive linkage.
I like to work on the car myself. This way, for the most part, I am satisfied that the work is done with care. Plus I learn more by doing the work myself. You can see that I have a bent rod in my hand. This happens every now and then. The car runs in the 12's. In this case I had purchased new rods to see if the performance could be improved. I bent two just driving around the block, so I put back my original rods, which have worked faithfully for years. "Live and Learn." You can see to stay clean, I wear gloves.
